First Step
To reserve your session use the online booking system via a “Book Now” button on the 1st Discovery panel. Full day sessions occur between 9am-5pm and shorter sessions occur during available blocks of time between 9am to 4pm on a weekday.
Follow Through and Accomplishment
The business discovery process ensures you have all the raw data required to develop a strategic plan to create your vision and achieve your goals. The collection of important information, data and details about your business can also be interviewed out of you during the follow up sessions. This can help expedite the completion of your discovery documentation and help prepare you to move into the strategic planning stage.
What you choose to do with your discovery results is completely within your own power and responsibility. Strategic planning is always the next step we recommend you take after fully completing the business discovery process. We offer strategic planning services to assist our clients with moving forward and into action to accomplish their objectives and key results. To do so, we encourage a mastermind to be forged to join you. If available, consider enrolling your legal, accounting, operations, and leadership team members. We then work with you and the chosen experts to develop a realistic and achievable strategic plan that leverages your creation energy and capabilities in a realistic and achievable way.
Business Discovery Frequently Asked Questions
STANDARD COSTS, SCHEDULING, AND PAYMENT PROCESS ASSOCIATED WITH DISCOVERY SESSIONS AND SERVICES
Billing is done in Canadian funds and applicable taxes are applied. An extra travel fee of 10% is added to the total fee on multi-day sessions when facilitating from your location of choice if the distance is greater than 50 km from Downtown Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. All travel and accommodation expenses are added to the invoice as a direct pass through expense. Mileage is billed at 52 cents per km.
To reserve your session you will pay for the session in full prior to your discovery session of choice. If you cancel a minimum of five business days prior to your session a full refund is provided. If you cancel 1-4 days prior to your session a 75% refund is provided. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the session there is no refund available but you retain a credit with BMS for the full value minus a $50 admin fee.
Partial day sessions will occur between 9 am and 3:00 pm on weekdays. Full day sessions occur between 9 am – 5 pm on weekdays but they can be held on a Saturday for special circumstances. There is a one hour working lunch included, for up to 10 participants, on the full day sessions.
You will be able to clearly express and share your vision by the end of a completed business discovery process or you receive a 80% refund. To date a refund for a discovery has never been requested due to the value each client has experienced.
You are equally responsible for your business discovery as we are. Please work with your team to review and collect data for your current finances, calendars, existing content (text, images, video, etc.) and your contacts (existing network) before you attend the session. You will get more out of the experience by doing these reviews. The session relies primarily on what you and each team member has in their mind, records, and gut. It can dramatically accelerate your efforts if you organize the above and have them available via Google, Dropbox, or similar cloud storage.
To book your session you will pay for the session in full, $1,288. Your session will take place between 9am to 5pm on a weekday or Saturday or split between two weekdays occurring between 9am-5pm. There is a one-hour working lunch on the full-day sessions. 8 hours of follow-up vision work, masterminding, and accountability calls are included.
To book your session you will pay for the session in full, $688. Your session will occur between 9am to 4pm on a weekday or a Saturday. 4 hours of follow-up vision work, masterminding, and accountability calls are included.
To book your session you will pay for the session in full, $388. Your two-hour session will occur between 8am to 4pm on a weekday. Two 30 minute follow-up virtual sessions, discovery review, masterminding, and accountability are included.
To book your session you will use the online booking system via a get started button on the 1st Discovery panel. Your one-hour session will occur between 9am to 4pm on a weekday. One 15-minute follow-up virtual session, discovery review, masterminding, and accountability are included.
